Some “elder” thoughts of mine…

Some people try to turn back their “odometers.” Not me. I want people to know why I look this way. I’ve traveled a long way and some of the roads weren’t paved!
I would like to know why the easiest way to find something that I lost around the house is to go out and buy a replacement? (Is it just me?)
Someone showed me once that when you put the two words “The” and “IRS” together it spells “Theirs…”
And did you ever notice that the Roman Numerals for forty (40) are XL?

The sole purpose of a child’s middle name is so they can tell when they’re really in trouble!
The older you get the tougher it is to lose weight because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.
Then there are all those forms where the blanks ask who is to be called in case of an emergence. I think we should write “an ambulance.”
Ah, being young was beautiful, but being old is comfortable.
I am thinking that old age is when I still have something on the ball, but am just too tired to bounce it.
And I’ll bet you have had some similar ramblings in your years on this planet. I’d love to have you share some!
