A memory for me…
As I get older, I find myself looking backwards in time for inspiration and lessons from stories, from songs, from cliches to make my life more fun and more meaningful. (Maybe it comes from having been a teacher? from owning a bookstore?)
Anyway, here again (did it in 2018!) is my take on the old childhood song, Row, Row, Row Your Boat. Let me know what you make of it!
Row, row, row your boat…
Waiting, drifting, wishing won’t get us where we want to go. We need to DO what’s in front of us to do. This life is our boat. We need to ROW our own boat; direct our own life. And not our children’s, our sister’s, or our friend’s. (this is sometimes challenging!)
Gently down the stream...our time here on this planet doesn’t need to be a struggle, to be difficult. We don’t have to swim upstream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily…though we may not be able to pick all our experiences, we CAN pick our attitude and our attitude will AFFECT our experience!
