got a dragon on your mind?

The current events of our days may well feel like we are confronting dragons. Ever feel like you are hemmed in by the dragons on the edges of our present map?
What’s just outside our experience of our known world today? Do we imagine it like some ancient mapmakers did, as being home to the unknown, the fearful dragons?
Do we see the ‘dragons’ in our lives as fearful or as exciting adventures? It may seem like uncharted territory.
The way we see dragons and the way we deal with them may teach us how to deal with the changes we are experiencing.

And since I love to read (don’t you?) about dragons, I prefer the fun ones for the young at heart like: The Bakery Dragon by Dorina Kurlz, How to Train Your Dragon by Cresside Cowell, Eric Carle’s Dragons, Dragons.
And then there are the more mature fantasies like the 25 books of the Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey, Eragon by Christopher Paolini, the Dragon Jousters by Mercedes Lackey Dragon Keeper by Robin Hobb…and so many more!
are you a fan of any of these escapes from our reality? Any favorite books you might recommend?

Books, books, books, I love them! Dragon books are no exception. Great analogy about what’s beyond the edge of the map.
Blessings!
