Thoughts from Guru Dr. Seuss!
Posted by Pat on June 29, 2014 in Uncategorized | ∞
I got sidetracked as I started this month’s collection of quotes and sayings!
It seems Dr. Seuss penned quite a number of “thoughtful thoughts!”
So this week all of the selections come from the inimitable Dr. Seuss, who poses as a children’s author.
(Really he’s a philosopher in disguise!)
I’ll bet a least of couple of the following quotes will resonate with you. See if I’m right!
P.S. As I couldn’t find a quote by the good “Dr.” about how great chocolate is, I’m putting in this one as a bonus!
So which one(s) would you pick as favorites?

Great quotes, Pat! This go round I’ll take two…
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” I need this one right now.
And of course, “Sisters and chocolate make life bearable”. Ain’t it the truth?
So we just visited about the value of moments, I will go with “having a big bat and troubles are now going to have trouble with me”.
Don’t let problems get you down, look for something good to take over as if taking a bat to hit them over the fence (and out of your head).
Sometimes you may allow yourself to get into a “hole” because of the bad things you see all around. Instead look to see the good that is out there too and get out of the hole. Smiles, handshakes, hugs, hellos, thank yous – find a positive way to continue your day. Use the bat and enjoy hot dogs and popcorn. chocolate comes in handy too.
