Play games with our grand kids and son, have fondue for dinner and then all will go outside and howel at the moon . Finally Just before bedtime we will all thank God for the blessings we and friends received during 2013 and for guidenance and strength during 2014.

Being extremely thankful for all the blessings in 2013 and looking forward to a wonderful 2014!

As always I Love Denny’s attitude. 2013 was about clearing out the physical clutter of living in a home since 1981-Thanks Josh. I still have a room to get the better of! It will go down!! 2014 is about seeking guidance, strength, wisdom from God and learning to listen to God so He doesn’t have to get so loud to get my attention.

    • Pat says:

Donna, it really does feel good to clear out clutter! I was in the office today and saw how much furniture and stuff was being moved around in order to facilitate the new carpet and, in a way, it made my own “stuff” not look so bad!

The quote about the work you do while you procrastinate being the work you should be doing for the rest of your life really hit home. I truly believe in finding work that you love doing so that you “get” to go to work rather than “have” to go to work. I have been fortunate in being able to choose what I want to do with my time most of my life. For the new year I intend to find meaningful work that will support the lifestyle I wish to live. And thank you to my Mom for helping me in times when this wasn’t so.

    • Pat says:

Laurie, I like the distinction you made between “getting” to go to work rather than “having” to go to work. I also believe we have the ability to choose our attitude about it, particularly if going to work enables us to do other things that we value as well.

  • Mark Klicker says:

A last minute reply but here you go…. After every experience I plan to leave the bad times behind and carry the great moments forward! Mark
