Which one would you choose?
Posted by Pat on August 25, 2013 in Uncategorized | ∞
It’s the last Sunday of the month, a time I look forward to because it’s when I get to share some of my favorite life quotes!
There are so many great thoughts as well as so many great images to go with them, that I do find it difficult to limit myself to just eight of them per post.
(But that does leave me lots of choices for next month!)
And I love that you continue to contribute to my “stash” of possibilities!
So, do you have a favorite from the above possibilities?
Do you have a different favorite you can share with us?
I think that it’s fun…
- to open our minds,
- to think about what we believe,
- to decide what we find meaningful, and
- to choose what we find humorous!
Do you agree?

Boy, this is a tough one, Pat! At this point in time I guess it’s Kermit. Einstein is a close second.
Still, not all that long ago a friend suggested I write a book about my life since there have been quite a few, er, ‘interesting’ experiences along the way. It made me chuckle. All those experiences and adventures are great for remembering, but really only for myself – and for those who were involved. It’s a gripping book for me, though.
Fay, a sister/friend who provides a chocolate croissant for breakfast is one of my favorite ideas of a good life! And it doesn’t hurt that she (you)does that Kermit thing about having fun…
I like tip toe to life.
Still one of my favorite concerns family.
The best parents make a comfortable nest for their little ones, then teach them to fly ( into their life to come ).
And the other, do not judge anyone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. We all come from different experiences, just because someone is not like you therefore makes them a problem. Accept, be open for different people, welcome all who comes your way with acceptance.

Earl, I love how the choices you just shared seem to fit so well with your life and values!
One of my favorite quotes is my own. My mantra as a golfer is “If you don’t want it there, don’t hit it there.” This can apply to life in general as well. If you don’t want to experience something, then don’t create it.
Meg, how true! What we focus on and where we focus does created our experience. I think we’ve all experienced that for good and for not-so-good!
I have to pick Einstein since he is one of my heroes. I do like the philosophy of dogs though. “If you can’t eat it or play with it, p… on it and walk away.”
Mary Kay, the dog philosophy is so simple. I like it. Life just gets easier when we learn to “walk away” even if it’s mentally. My former pastor used to say “reply with oh and zero out what you don’t want to admit into your consciousness.
Mary Kay AND Meg! How useful and simple the idea to “let it go” and yet not so easy to do!
