What are you doing with YOUR chocolate?
Just like in an iron foundry, your chocolate is melted like pig iron.
That which was solid becomes liquid, and is then poured into molds which are fashioned in different shapes.
Neither the chocolate nor the pig iron itself chooses its own form. It is formless, ready to take any form supplied.
(I personally prefer my molds to be filled with liquid chocolate rather than pig iron!)
And I love that I get to choose the molds!
Will it be a candy bar? an Easter bunny? a truffle?
Who can complain about what they get if they are the ones who have chosen it?
And it’s no different in life!
That subtle energy of Spirit, that life force, that “chocolate” if you will, is what we all are. And that which we are is wonderful!
This melting and shaping process is the way it is in our lives. We continually are creating our “experiences,” our opportunities to be either joyful, angry, sad, or bored.
These molds of ours are made in our own minds, through
- our conscious and specific thoughts,
- our purpose and
- our directions.
So it would seem smart to choose our thoughts, purpose, and directions wisely!
Now, just because we make the molds that we choose, it doesn’t mean we create the substance/chocolate that fills them!
The substance already exists; it is part of the Life in which we live, a part of the Universal Energy.
We can make a different mold
- if we don’t like our current one,
- if we’ve outgrown the one we have,
- if we are eager to explore other options.
But the substance/chocolate is the gift of life for which we are eternally grateful!
