The Force Awakens?
Many of us are interested in the metaphysical concept of the one Force in the universe. And we know that the purpose of our spiritual journey is not to make anything happen or to stop anything from happening.
Our purpose is to wake up to what’s already happening.
Think of Yogananda’s organization, Self-Realization Fellowship, which means we are here to recognize who we are. It’s not “The Self-Improvement Fellowship” or the “Self-Repair Fellowship.”
It reminds us that when we recognize our identity as spiritual beings, we are home.
The Force first described by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi is as an energy field created by all living things, that surrounds and penetrates living beings and binds the galaxy together. It is a binding, metaphysical, and ubiquitous power in the fictional universe of the Star Wars galaxy created by George Lucas.
The line “May the Force be with you” has become part of the pop culture vernacular and has even achieved cult status among fans.
When we tell someone, “May the Force be with you,” we are offering a half-blessing, leaving open the possibility that the Force may not be with you.
A more powerful blessing would be spoken in the form of an affirmation: “The Force is with you.”
The Force is not only with us. It is in us and all around us. There is no place the Force is not. Ultimately the Force is you, is me, is us.
Thanks to George Lucas and his group for bringing a powerful principle to our culture!
We can enjoy the movie while experiencing the truth!

Very eloquently put. What if we substitute the word God for the Force? A rose by any another name would smell as sweet.
As Mary Kay just said, The truth IS.
Mary Kay and Lea, whatever name someone chooses to use for the gift of life, love and spirit they are is just a label for the ineffable truth.
