That half glass…
Remember that “half full, half empty glass” question? And did you ever realize how many different perspectives you could have on it?
I guess it all depends on which half we are focused on, which half we are giving our attention to, which half we have chosen to measure!
I really like this idea about the glass because it means we don’t have to decide on that empty or full question.
And I also enjoy the reminder that sometimes we get distracted and miss the point of having water available!
(Could there be a life lesson here?)
Some more random thoughts!
If we imagine our life as a glass, we can choose our perspective. We can perceive lack or fullness.
Oh, by the way, did you happen to notice that you do have a glass? That you have been gifted with a glass of your very own?
- A glass you can choose to be grateful for or not.
- A glass you can choose to fill or not.
- A glass you can fill with what you want or don’t want.
- A glass you can share from or not.
So, how would you describe your glass today?
