Square pegs and round holes…
“Square peg in a round hole” describes someone who doesn’t fit into a specified niche. Have you tried to fit into an uncomfortable slot? Has someone tried to make you fit into their perception of who you should be?
Was this man a square peg?
This is an “Einstein idea” I found interesting to contemplate!
Who knew you could be/ do both round and square?
And here’s a reminder for all of us, (and not just about autism!)
Here are two well-known names and their beliefs about this trying to fit in:
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes…the ones who see things differently. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones who do. Steve Jobs
So let’s all choose not just who we are and will be, but also choose which hole we want to fill (and let others do the same!)

Thank you, Pat! 💜
Pat,
This certainly is wisdom enough, and more.
Love and light,
