Sharing some life lessons…

Posted by Pat on June 30, 2024 in Uncategorized |

Did you ever see the email that went viral on the internet called “Life Lessons from a 90 Year old Woman?”

Now this is a gal I can relate to! And, no, she was not 90 years old. Regina Brett wrote her list the night before her 45th birthday after being diagnosed with breast cancer. (She doesn’t know who labeled her 90 years old.)

But I don’t care because her life lessons are well worth sharing. You may (or may not) agree with some of these ideas that I’ve chosen to share from her list but they should give us all something to thing about!

It’s smart to give up wanting life to be “fair” and accept that it really is still good!

But it’s so hard to wait for what we want healed, isn’t it?

(S)he can take it!

And here are a couple more of my favorites from her list!

Any of these resonate with you?

Everything can change in the blink of an eye. Now I may have to inquire ” did I miss anything? Probably yes, but something else is ready on the next page, so I can wait!

Being in “The Waiting Room” is at once frustrating and hopeful. I’ve learned to use it to my advantage both literally and figuratively.
