Random thoughts on square pegs…

“Square peg in a round hole” describes the individual who doesn’t fit into a specified niche.
Is that you?
Have you tried to fit into an uncomfortable slot? Has someone tried to make you fit into their perception of who you should be?
Was he a square peg?
And here’s an “Einstein idea” to contemplate!
Who knew you could be/do both round and square?
Can we?
And here’s another truth:
(and not just about autism)
And Maya Angelou and Steve Jobs below have similar beliefs!
Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes…the ones who see things differently…You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things…and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do. Being both is a cool thought! One just has to think laterally, as it were. And yes, I’ve tried to fit where I just couldn’t…it didn’t work very well for either of us. Crazy seems a pretty good fit, though!
Fay, I too liked the idea of being both the square and the round. I’ll bet we could even be the star and the triangle!
I agree with you Pat, all shapes some just fit a little more often than others.
